Description
The third camera released in the Fujifilm X series, the X-M1 is a more simplified version of the X-E1. It uses the same fist generation X-Trans sensor as the X-Pro1 and X-E1, but in a smaller body with more traditional camera controls. The X-M1 does not havea. viewfinder, but does have an articulating rear LCD screen, unlike it's two more expensive siblings.

Overall rating
Great compact camera with the excellent X-TRANS sensor from Fuji. It offers image quality comparable to the Fuji more "pro" camera's from that era. 2 dials for manual control and a Fn button for ISO, perfect for 1 hand operation. I switched over to the X-T1 and found these controls on the X-M1 more useful. However, the lack of a viewfinder adds to the compactnes but is a pain in bright sunlight. Also, no custom settings for Fuji recipe's other than white balance correction and no AE or AF buttons. It does have video capability's, 1080P for 15 min or 720P for 30 min but no control of SS, Ap or ISO. Would recommend!
